Pressure won in town Uttargaon of Thakurgaon's Ranisankail upazila after certain individuals burnt a symbol of Hindu goddess Kali at a sanctuary Thursday night. 'A gathering of individuals harmed the symbol at the Kali Temple nearby Shanto Chandra's home in the town at about 9:00pm and escaped,' said Ranisankail cop in-control Jahid Iqbal. A Khulna court on Thursday condemned four individuals to death and five others to life term detainment for killing a financial specialist in 2010.
