Four get death sentence for killing businessman in Khulna

A Khulna court on Thursday condemned four individuals to death and five others to life term detainment for killing a financial specialist in 2010. Of the convicts, Farid Mollah, Misbah Mollah, Mortaza Mollah and Tutul Mollah of town Ketenga of Terokhada upazila were condemned to death, whille Mukta Mollah, Shahidul Shikdar, Selim Shikdar, Nasir Shikder and Mehedi Mollah of a similar town were condemned to life-term detainment. Khulna extra region and meetings judge Mohammad Yarab Hossain gave over the decision in his pressed court. As per the indictment, Firoz Sheik, a financial specialist of Terokhada upazila, was hacked to death by the convicts on August 15, 2010. Hiru Sheik, sibling of the person in question, later documented an argument with Terokhada police headquarters against 30 individuals. On December 6, 3013, police presented a charge-sheet against 13 individuals. In the wake of inspecting records and witnesses, the Judge articulated the decision.
